No News Feb 7, 2000 - Still nothing to add to the "Dave is back" rumour. I'll continue to link to reputable sites reporting it. If you find any more, please forward them. Thanks! MakeoverFeb 9, 2000 - The VHND is currently receiving a slight makeover behind the scenes. If you find any broken links, I apologize. The new site will look very similar, but should be much easier to navigate. It should be ready by February 23. New LookFeb 12, 2000 - The site redesign is almost complete. All I have to do is convert the archives page and the 1998/1999 tour pages. Every sub-page will look like this one. This new design allows dynamic information to be inserted into the left and right columns, while the content in the middle stays consistant. Frames are no longer used. Splash ScreensFeb 14, 2000 - Unfortunately, I've had to drop the splash screen idea. My web server is only just coping with the demand, and is freaking out at peak times due to high traffic. All These Rumours!
February 16, 2000 - I'll make this short and sweet. Until you see Dave or Sammy on television with Van Halen announcing their reunion, it's just a rumour. All of this speculation about the Grammys, 4th of July and a double album is just that - speculation. My apologies for the lack of news, but there really is nothing concrete to report. I'd rather report nothing than make up stories. If reputable web sites are running stories about the Van Halen situation, you will find links to them in the new "rumour file" section on the right of screen. The Grammys February 23, 2000 - Don't expect to see David Lee Roth or Van Halen at the Grammy awards tonight. That's the word from "The Keepers", Dave's official internet spokespeople and our source within the Van Halen camp. Take yourself back to the MTV awards in 1996. The hot rumour at the time was that Van Halen and David Lee Roth would be at the awards show. We all know that the rumour turned out to be true. What do you think?
