Dave Rumours
May 19, 1997 -
According to the Slawterhouse
web site, the original David Lee Roth band is reforming. They are quoting
"extremely reliable" sources who say that the Roth / Vai / Sheehan / Bissonette
combination has already been turned down for the opening spot on the Aerosmith tour.
While this is great news for fans of Dave, it looks to be a false rumour.
According to sources within the Vai camp and Billy Sheehan, there is no truth to the
rumour. To quote Billy Sheehan:
"No truth to that rumour - I wouldn't do it without Gregg Bissonette
anyway!"
Special thanks to Roger and Brad from the VHML for tracking down the info!
