The second edition of the book is now a whopping 450 pages, and in paperback form.
According to the book's author, CJ Chilvers, it also offers increased accuracy.
There have been numerous corrections and additions to the original hardback
edition that is now out of print.
Not a day goes by when I don't find myself reaching for my copy to check
a fact, look up a tour date or research a song. Apart from a copy of all
the Van Halen and David Lee Roth solo albums, the Van Halen Encyclopedia is the
only thing that sits on top of my real-life "Van Halen News Desk".
For the die-hard fan, this book is as essential as owning all the albums.

Dec 31, 2000 - 2000: The Year In Review
2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
