New Albums From Dave and Sammy

David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar will issue new solo albums in the upcoming
months. Dave's album, said to be titled "Diamond Dave" will contain the
following tracks:

- Thug Pop
- Act One
- Slip Away
- Bold As Love (Jimi Hendrix)
- Soul Kitchen (The Doors)
- Tomorrow Never Knows (The Beatles)
- Shu Ba Da Du Ma Ma Ma (Steve Miller Band)
- Let It All Hang Out (Hombres)
- You Got The Blues, Not Me (Savoy Brown)
- Stay While The Night Is Young (Savoy Brown)
- Made Up My Mind (Savoy Brown)
- Ice Cream Man (John Brim - feat. Edgar Winter on sax & Nile Rogers on guitar)
- Bad Habits (Billy Field - feat. Edgar Winter on sax)
- If 6 Was 9 (Jimi Hendrix)
As you can see there are a lot of cover songs on the album, many of them
pulled from the vault. Bad Habits, written and originally recorded
by Australian Billy Field who also wrote I'm Easy from Roth's Eat 'Em And Smile,
originally appeared in the 1996 movie Sgt Bilko. Ice Cream Man is also
from studio sessions conducted during the mid-90's. Tomorrow Never Knows was
part of Roth's long-promised DVD that is still to be released. Diamond Dave will
hit the stores on July 8.
Sammy's will be a live album titled Live Hallelujah and will be released
on May 20. It will feature guest appearances by Van Halen's Michael Anthony
and former Extreme and Van Halen singer, Gary Cherone.
