The Van Halen Story - Coming Soon On DVD
October 21, 2003
Just about everyone has a DVD player these days. What we need now is a Van Halen DVD to play
on it! Live: Right Here, Right Now and Video Hits Volume One were good, but they were
just re-releases of existing titles. (May I say that Live Without A Net is screaming to be released
on DVD but I doubt we'll ever see it).
Soon there will be a third Van Halen DVD to add to your collection! The Van Halen News Desk and our
friends at VanHalenStore.com are proud to announce that
we are the first to get the full scoop on the new Van Halen DVD! Here's all the info you've been waiting for:
The Van Halen Story: The Early Years chronicles the rise of four young musicians from their
formative years to their transformation into a worldwide phenomenon. Witness the group's gripping tale told
by the people who were there when it began - the childhood friends, fellow musicians, roadies, bodyguards,
producers, and the band themselves. Rare footage and never-before-seen photos help document their remarkable
story.
This is an amazing documentary about the formative years of the best rock and roll band ever. The DVD covers all the
years with David Lee Roth, and concentrates mostly on the club days and the first world tour. The is
about as good as a documentary could possibly be without the band's involvement. Interviews with many
people who were very close to the band:
