Hagar Back In Van Halen?
November 20, 2003
It's time to get the rumour mill spinning again, because it doesn't get much bigger than this.
According to Andrew at MelodicRock.com,
Van Halen will return in 2004, with Sammy Hagar on lead vocals.
According to the MelodicRock.com report:
- Sammy Hagar is set to return to Van Halen
- A reunion attempt was made with David Lee Roth (after the failed attempts in 1996 and 2000)
but it didn't work out
- Nobody knows who called who first
- Hagar has told the members of his solo band he intends to rejoin Van Halen
To add to the speculation,
HITS Daily Double reported yesterday
in their rumour mill that Van Halen had hired Irving Azoff as their new manager. Azoff is probably
best known for managing the Eagles. He also, coincidentally (or not), manages Sammy Hagar.
Please remember that this is all rumour at the moment. However, it's a very strong rumour and
once it spreads to the mainstream media it will be very difficult for all parties not to at
least offer a comment.
Hopefully I'll have more details over the next few days!
