MCY Acquires Exclusive Worldwide Media Rights to Sammy Hagar's 'Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash' Concert
Blow-Out Concert to Include Special Footage and Interviews November 29, 2000 - NEW YORK, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ - Digital entertainment company MCY.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MCYC - news) has acquired a package of exclusive worldwide digital, broadcast, cable, satellite, DVD, home video and radio rights to Sammy Hagar's ``Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash'' concert, which was filmed by MCY when Hagar took to the stage in Chicago on November 18, 2000. The announcement was made today by Larry Stessel, President of MCY's Music Division. The first leg of the ``Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash'' Tour promoting Hagar's new album, Ten 13, kicked off on November 11th in Phoenix, Arizona and is scheduled to wrap in San Francisco, California on December 3rd. MCY's webcast of the concert is expected to launch at http://www.mcy.com in early 2001 and will include exclusive footage and interviews. The Company will exploit the other rights in its media package through licensing deals with programmers and distributors in all media.
